Treasure Yourself by Miranda Kerr Review

July 28, 2012

A rose can never be a sunflower, and a sunflower can never be a rose. All flowers are beautiful in their own way, and that’s like women too. I want to encourage women to embrace their own uniqueness.”

Miranda's first book is an incredible collection of thoughts, memories and lessons that will put you on the path to self-improvement. Written for a new audience of young adults, this book has important lessons on self-confidence, inner beauty and acceptance. Uses some of the classic wisdom that has inspired Miranda to achieve, including many thoughts from world renowned authors and spiritual leaders such as Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay & others. This beautiful rich, cloth covered book featuring personal illustrations from Miranda’s friends and family will become an heirloom that will be passed down through generations.

What I Thought-
Miranda Kerr's Treasure Yourself is such an amazing book. It really helps you to see life for what it is and it is also a personal look at Miranda's life. When we look at Aussie model Miranda Kerr we can't help but all think she has the perfect life. But she is a real person who has had her fair share of problems in life and can you believe it self-consciousness. In Treasure Yourself she shares her experiences and Power Thoughts as well as the things that have helped her to achieve all the things she has accomplished in life. It is a book were we can relate to what she is saying and then say "woah if only I had done that before things would have been much easier". She encourages you to embrace challenges with wide arms and except who you are because everyone has the power to shine and when you do it is like lighting up a dark room.  When you Treasure Yourself it opens up a whole doorway of amazing opportunities and a much better and positive environment for everyone.

I really enjoyed this book and have a much better outlook and perspective on life. Before reading this I didn't know to much about Miranda Kerr. Except the fact that she was a Beautiful Australian Model married to Orlando Bloom. But now I feel I can relate to her positive and kind bubbly personality. She is definitely not your stereotype stuck up and perfect model. She is just like everyone else and is a role model. Which to me is something important.

I would recommend this book 1000 times because it is fabulous. I want everyone to read it because it really brightens how you see the world. It teaches you to just be yourself and think with positive minds and grateful hearts because that can really change things for the better.

My Rating: ********** 10 Stars
